As our local community, schools, work environments and society continue to experience the diversification of America, organizations and leaders can no longer remain culturally encapsulated. As members of an ever-changing society, we need to work towards appreciating all of the citizens we interact with and the communities and perspectives from which they operate from. In these experiential workshops, we will explore our own cultural identities, our hidden bias as well as blindspots within our daily activities and their impact on our work and interactions with others. Through activities and conversations, participants will receive an overview of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), gain self-awareness, knowledge of others, and the skills to make adjustments to improve the work culture.
